Exhibition Profile

Professor Lei Kueiyuan (1906-1989) was both a leading founder of the Pattern Theory Studies and the begetter of modern design education in China. On occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of Prof. Lei, Tsinghua University Art Museum, together with Design Academy of Arts, Tsinghua University co-organize the exhibition “Design Life - Art Retrospective of Lei Kueiyuan, Master of Modern Design and Education”. The exhibition is aimed at unfolding the outstanding contribution Prof. Lei has done to modern design education as well as his education and design thinking.
