Tsinghua University Art Museum owns porcelain and pottery collections from the Neolithic Age until the modern times. Among them, most of the collections were from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The rich variety of collections includes red pottery, grey pottery, painted pottery, black pottery, original porcelain, celadon, color glazed porcelain, and painted porcelain. The collection, with characteristics of comprehensive techniques, rich themes and the completed history, fully reflects the achievement of ancient Chinese ceramicart.
