Exhibition Profile

There have been numerous great teachers and masters in the history of Tsinghua University. “The high hill is looked up to; the great road is easy to be travelled on; although I cannot reach, my heart can’t stop going for”. They were like the high hills and great roads, but regrettably have passed away. It is impossible for us to have an impression of their graceful bearing and to be lectured by them in person, but we still can percept an iota of it from their letters, teaching schemes and manuscripts. The exhibition is aimed at providing an opportunity to appreciate and taste the handwritings and articles of those socially and academically influential Tsinghua scholars through displaying their personal letters, therefore understand their feelings and acme, arouse the enthusiasm for academics from the scholars of younger generation and their admiration and recalling of those great scholars.
