On April 30th, alumni of 1997 of Tsinghua pledged the statues in memory of the Four Great Tutors.

On May 12th, Tsinghua University Art Museum Review Committee was founded.

From May 17th to 20th, members of the CPC Party Branch of Tsinghua Art Museum went to visit Nanchang and Jinggangshan for educational activities with the theme of "Tracing the footmark of revolutionary pioneers and visiting museum colleagues".

On September 10th, Tsinghua University Art Museum Council Foundation was founded.

On September 10th, Tsinghua University Art Museum Council Foundation was founded and the First meeting of the First Session of the Council was convened. 

 
On September 10th, the First Summary Meeting of Tsinghua University Art Museum volunteers was convened.

On October 20th, the Framework Agreement on Inter-museum Cooperation was signed between Tsinghua University Art Museum and China Custome Museum.

On October 26th, the Framework Agreement on Inter-museum Cooperation was signed between Tsinghua University Art Museum and Capital Museum.

On December 9th, the Donation Ceremony of the French contemporary Artist Martial Raysse’s sculpture Ric de Hop la Houppe was held at Tsinghua University Art Museum.

On January 12th, Tsinghua University Art Museum Curatorial Committee was founded.

On January 22nd, the Sino-Swiss Architecture Dialogue 2018 was held at Tsinghua University Art Museum.

 
On April 29th, the naming ceremony of the Yuehan Pond donated by alumni of 1988 of Tsinghua University was held at Tsinghua University Art Museum.

On May 14th, the Framework Agreement on Inter-museum Cooperation was signed between Tsinghua University Art Museum and Art Museum of Beijing Fine Art Academy.

In June, the CPC Party Branch of Tsinghua University Art Museum went to Shijiazhuang and Xibaipo（both located in Hebei province）to deliver art courses at Xibaipo Hope Primary School and Hope Secondary School. This activity has been awarded the 2018 Annual Excellent Special Activities of the Party Branch of Tsinghua University.

 
From June to July, the museum carried on the plan of Staff Trainning Programme, including develop research studies in museums of other provinces and cities and summarized the studies intensively.

On July 9th, the conference of Tsinghua University Art Museum Academic Commitee was convened.

On July 12th, the Establishment Meeting of Tsinghua University Art Museum Collection Appraisal Expert Committee was convened.

On September 2nd, the Second Summary Meeting of Tsinghua University Art Museum volunteers was convened.

On October 30th, the Framework Agreement on Inter-museum Cooperation was signed between Tsinghua University Art Museum and Price Gong’s Mansion Museum.

 
In November, Tsinghua University Art Museum became the Vice-chairman Unit attached to Museum's Professional Committee of Higher Learning Institutions of the Museum Society.

In December, Tsinghua University Art Museum joined National Union of Art Museums in Colleges and Universities as one of the first batch of memberships.

 
On December 23rd, the Council Meeting of Tsinghua University Art Museum 2018 was convened.

On December 28th, Tsinghua University Art Museum won the title of Favourite Museum in Your Favourite Museum 2018 Vote launched by Beijing Tourism Network.

In April, Tsinghua University Art Museum was selected by Beijing Municipal Departments as one of the first “New Era Civilization Practice Institutions”.

On June 5, "EVERLASTING LIKE THE HEAVENS：The Cultures and Arts of the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang" was nominated as the "National Excellent Exhibition of Art Museums in 2019" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

On September 10th, the fourth anniversary of the opening of the Tsinghua University Art Museum, the Century Golden Resources Group donated 50 million RMB to establish the Strategic Development Fund of Tsinghua University Art Museum. Focusing on the construction and development of TAM, the fund brings together the strength of prominent individuals, distinguished alumni and prestigious enterprises to support high-quality exhibitions, the collection and solicitation of valuable collections, the conduction of academic research, and international communication.

On September 18th, Du Pengfei, the Executive Vice President of Tsinghua University Art Museum, was elected to be the Vice President of the China Museum Association at the 7th National Congress of the China Museum Association.

On December 21st, TAM became the "National First-Class Museum".

On January 13rd, the second meeting of the second Academic Committee was held.

In this year, Tsinghua University Art Museum was elected as a member of the 8th Vice Board Chair Unit of the Chinese Museums Association, selected as Institution for Beijing Cultural Tourism Experience and one of the first National Educational Institution for Science Communication (2021-2025).

Special Exhibition "Splendor of Huaxia: The Essence of Shanxi's Ancient Civilization" was selected as "Excellent" in the 2021 Beijing Museums Excellent Exhibition Selection.

On January 6th, the third conference of the second Academic Committee was held.

"Liang: the Overarching—A Documenta Celebrating Liang Sicheng's 120th Anniversary" was selected as one of the key recommended programmes for the "Exhibition of 2022 on the Theme of Promoting China's Fine Traditional Culture and Fostering the Core Socialist Values".

"Ode to the Red Candle: Wen Yiduo and Wen Lipeng Art Exhibition" was selected as "Excellent" in the 2022 Beijing Museums Excellent Exhibition Selection.

"Untold Implications: Feng Yuan Art Exhibition"was selected as the "National Excellent Exhibition of Art Museums in 2022" by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

On April 14th, the first conference of the third Academic Committee was held.
