Exhibition Profile

This exhibition follows the theme of “The Embodied Path,” tracing the development of humanoid robots from mechanical structures to embodied intelligence. It is not only a history of technological evolution, but also a shift in how intelligence is understood: no longer as abstract computing power, but as something that gradually emerges through perception, action, and interaction with the environment. A machine’s “form” is no longer just an imitation of the human body, but a way of connecting with the world. Its “capability” is no longer limited to carrying out commands, but lies in building responsive mechanisms through continuous exploration.

The exhibition unfolds along four sections: “InspirationInsightUnderstandingCo-Creation.” In “Inspiration,” questions come before knowledge: what does it mean for a body to stand upright? When machines enter everyday human life, is their arrival an endpoint, or a new beginning? From ancient automata to contemporary humanoid robots, visitors will encounter an evolving question rather than a single answer of progress.
