In celebration of its 70th anniversary, following the successful presentations of the previous two exhibitions — "From the Seine to Guanghua Road: The Modernization of Decoration" and "Forms of the People: The Art Path of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University" — the third exhibition, themed "New Era, New Grace, New Momentum: New Century Achievements Exhibition, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University," focuses on the new century and the new era. It is structured around four sections: new paradigms, new models, new visuals, and new narratives, which can also be viewed as four dimensions of the art and design disciplines. The exhibition systematically examines the representative achievements of the academy during this period, as well as the evolution of its educational philosophy and cultural context embodied within them. These achievements go beyond formal expression, collectively showcasing the cultural consciousness of the faculty and students amid rapid societal transformation, and reflecting the deepening exploration of aesthetic issues in art and design in response to technological advancements, ethical considerations, and value judgments.
