May 30th 2017, the opening ceremony of "Nonlinear Reality——Modern Belarusian Graphics" was held at the Entrance Hall of Tsinghua University Art Museum.
The Opening Ceremony
Dozens of lithographs, watercolors and sketches of some 39 established and up-and-coming Belarusian artists are now on show at Tsinghua University Art Museum.
A lot of these artworks were produced in the past three decades. The country's history and aesthetic traditions are well presented, and people's concerns with the present and future are conveyed. The composition and the palette demonstrate an experimental spirit.
The paintings are from the collection of the National Center of Modern Arts of the Republic of Belarus. The center's director Natallia Sharangovich says no one is better than an artist to express a country's beauty and a nation's soul.
