Ticket policy

    Tsinghua University Arts Museum provides general and special-exhibition tickets.

    • Purchase of general tickets brings opportunity of visiting permanent and temporary exhibition;
    • Purchase of special-exhibition tickets brings opportunity of visiting special exhibition.
    • General tickets should be purchased to enter the museum.

    The real-name ticket system is followed and one ticket is limited to one valid ID per day.

    • General visitors shall provide ID cards or passports for purchasing tickets;
    • On-campus visitors shall provide faculty campus card and student IC card for the tickets.

    Tickets are valid for one entry on the date.

    Passport, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Resident Permit holders please purchase tickets at the ticket office. 

    All tickets are non-refundable once got verified.

    Please navigate the museum at a safe distance from the exhibits and other visitors.

Ticket price

    General ticket: 50 RMB per person

    Special-exhibition ticket: Ticket prices vary by exhibition

     

Preferential policies

Tsinghua teachers and students (including those of attached middle school and primary school) and alumni:
    • Tsinghua University teachers and students (including those of attached middle school and primary school, but excluding adult education) with valid faculty campus card and student card: free general tickets and free special-exhibition tickets;
    • Alumni with certificates: general ticket: 40 yuan/person; for special-exhibition tickets please check the price list below. According to Tsinghua University Statutes, alumni are identified as follows: having studied or worked in the university and schools or won honorary degrees or titles;

    • On the anniversary celebration of Tsinghua University, the museum provides free admission for both general and special exhibitions for faculty, students and Tsinghua alumni with valid certificates;

General visitors:
    • Members of Tsinghua University Art Museum can get general tickets and special-exhibition tickets with membership card;
    • Individual members of Chinese Museums Association can get general tickets for free and a 20% discount on special exhibition tickets with Membership Card;

    • Children at or below the age of 3 (including 3 years of age) can entre freely. Children at or below the age of 6 (including 6 years of age) are eligible for free general tickets and enjoy a discount on special-exhibition tickets (please check the the price list below). Children shall be accompanied by parents who need to buy tickets;

    • Active duty military can get general tickets for free and enjoy a 20% discount on special exhibition tickets with valid ID at the ticket office.
    • National Integrated Fire Rescuers can get general tickets for free and enjoy a 20% discount on special exhibition tickets with valid ID at the ticket office.
    • Seniors of 60 years old or above can get general tickets for free and enjoy a 20% discount on special exhibition tickets with valid ID at the ticket office.
    • Disabled people can get general tickets for free and enjoy a 20% discount on special exhibition tickets with disability certificate at the ticket office.
    • Students other than students of Tsinghua University and the attached middle school and primary school (including students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students, excluding adult education) with student ID or school letter of introduction: general ticket 40 yuan/person and enjoy a discount on special-exhibition tickets (please check the the price list below) at the ticket office;
    • On International Museum Day(May 18th), museum professionals with an valid employee ID can get general tickets and special-exhibition tickets for free at the ticket office, visitors enjoy a 50% discount on general tickets and special-exhibition tickets;
    • On Children's Day, Children at or below the age of 14 (including 14 years of age) enjoy a 50% discount on general tickets and special-exhibition tickets with valid ID at the ticket office;
    • On Teacher's Day, teachers get general tickets and special tickets for free with a valid teaching certificate at the ticket office.
     
     

Purchase methods & procedures

On-site purchase
    • Only tickets of the day are sold at the scene;
    • Purchase process:
      Present valid ID→purchase tickets of the day→select ticket types(general or special-exhibition tickets)→confirm visitor type→complete the payment→obtain tickets.
 

Ticket alteration

Refund can be applied for unused advance tickets online prior to the date of admission and will be impossible over the deadline.
